Hi!MWelcome to the Krannert
Center for the Performing Arts, our local live theater and performance
complex. Since the 1960s, the Krannert Center has been providing
world-class entertainment for all of central Illinois.
I'm sitting in the charming cafe and conversation area located within the Krannert complex known as the Intermezzo. Intermezzo offers breakfast pastries, luncheon specialties, vegetarian and healthy eating alternatives, light suppers, Viennese dessert specialties, and even "Krannert Blend "coffees. It's an ideal place to wile away a few moments before or after you attend a play, concert, or other special performance. I'm going to have some of their delicious pecan pie!
After our show, you can browse in the Promenade Gift Shop. It's located at the southwest corner of the Krannert lobby, and offers many unique items with performing arts and literary themes, plus an assortment of greeting cards, fanciful toys, delectable candies, and fine jewelry. Just look at these beautiful items!
Well, it's almost curtain time, and tonight's shows are about to start. Have a good time!
