Harkness, ABR, CRS, GRI, SRES Your Helping Hand in the Heartland A Real Estate Icon Sharon's high reputation in the Central Illinois real estate market has been long and well deserved. Licensed in 1985, she was an Associate Realtor for RE/MAX Realty Associates in Champaign, Illinois for 14 years (1992-2006) before becoming one of the founding members of the Real Estate Center of Illinois, LLC. Her office service now includes Champaign, Urbana, Mahomet, Monticello and St. Joseph. Sharon has been the President of Champaign County Association of Realtors and served on its Committees including Grievance, Membership and Strategic Planning. Her extensive education in real estate continues, and currently she holds the highly regarded ABR, CRS, GRI and SRES designations. Sharon is also active as a volunteer with the Board of Realtors, Chamber of Commerce, and her church and local schools. A graduate of Millikin University, Sharon originally worked in the Decatur Hospital nursing program before teaching nursing in Urbana and then becoming a realtor. She and her husband (a UI Landscape Architecture professor) have two daughters (one in Minneapolis, one in Berkeley) and her hobbies include fitness, travel and playing the piano. Jeannie Vansickle ASP, GRI, CRS, QSC® Real Estate Agent Jeannie is a graduate of the University of Connecticut (English and History) and the University of Illinois (Educational Psychology & Special Education). A transplant from New England, she's lived in this community since 1967. She once took a five-year hiatus on a boat at Kentucky Lake and made several trips via the Tom Bigby Waterway to Florida where she wintered in Destin. Jeannie now resides in southwest Champaign with her cat, Gracie, and enjoys working in the yard, cooking and entertaining. Jeannie has also been a teacher, administrator, consultant and trainer before becoming a Realtor in 1985. She's a Graduate of the Realtor Institute and a Certified Residential Specialist. She also attended the Denver Institute of Art where she studied Interior Design. Today, as a member of Sharon Harkness, Inc. and the Champaign County Association of Realtors, Pam is dedicated to providing clients with the finest possible real estate service and has received the esteemed Accredited Staging Professional (ASP) designation, Pam has always been active in her local community, and as a Certified Instructor for families dealing with mental illness, she has at different times volunteered for such civic organizations as the National Organization for the Dually Diagnosed, the Special Olympics in Denver Colorado (where she lived for 25 years), the Women's Shelter Denverland, the Rotary Club and even the Denver Police Department. Pam has two children, two dogs, loves to travel and has journeyed to such far off places as Hawaii, Mexico, the Caribbean, Europe, Israel and even Africa. She's been a resident of Champaign now for over 10 years and graduated from the University of Illinois (a HUGE Illini fan) with a degree in Community Health Education. Prior to working with Sharon, Allison was employed at a large property management company and earned her State of Illinois real estate license. Currently, her duties are primarily to help YOU our client. Allison typically coordinates marketing materials for listings, make appointments to tour homes, schedules closings, and works with both buyers AND sellers throughout the entire real estate transaction process. "I've been a resident of Champaign for 18 years." "I've' been married for 29 years." "I have 4 children and 1 grandchild."
